Step 1: Preparation of the woods
To prepare the two woods that we will use for this towel rack we will have to use the saw to cut only one part and thus achieve an L shape since we will have to insert both woods. You will have to mark the width of the pine wood and make the oak wood match the pine board for balance and an ideal design.
Step 2: Joining the woods
If you have managed to match both woods after making the cuts and marking them, the second step will be extremely easy since you will have to join the two woods together with the help of the white glue. To follow the design of our towel rack, the oak wood must be 5 centimeters from the edge of the pine wood. To make sure the glue dries properly, one of our brycus tips is to let it dry for about 45 minutes. Once this time has passed, the woods will be practically inseparable.
Step 3: We start with the copper
The time has come to incorporate the copper tubes. In your towel rack you can install as many as you want but you must bear in mind that the size of the boards will vary to support each and every one of the tubes you install. To install them we will have to place each of the elbows on their corresponding bars and with it help us to measure the distance of the board from its center to its end. We mark the place where we want to install them and cut the tube following the brand we make.
Step 4: Place the bars
Once we have the bars cut to your desired size, we must drill the wood for the subsequent installation. This action will be achieved through the drill and a 12 mm drill bit with which we will create the perfect indentation to place the copper bars in the oak wood. Remember that if you want a towel rack with a clean and shiny finish for the whole family to enjoy, you can varnish the wood and clean the metal. You can varnish the wood with any waterproof product and the metal will be extremely shiny if you apply a cleaning liquid with the help of a soft cloth. Once the varnish is dry and the metal is polished, we can glue the bars using a cold solder for copper. We wait a little longer for this weld to dry and the bars settle and the towel rack is ready to be installed on your garden wall.
Now you just have to invite some friends, hang your towels on the towel rack and start enjoying a splendid day at the pool without those unwanted trips to look for towels because now they will be waiting for you by the pool so as not to steal a second of fun .
