They are made up of 2 reagents, OTO (orthotolidine) for the determination of the disinfectant level and phenol red, for the determination of the level of pH. Daily analysis of water from all types of residential pools and spas. The use of CTX analyzer kits is an economical, fast and easy way to find out the correct concentration of disinfectant and pH. You must always carry out the OTO test before that of the phenol, since this will not work if the level of disinfectant is too high and will give erroneous results. It is also important to rinse the test tubes with the pool water, before using them.
